Well, here we are heading towards mid summer and yet it doesn't seem that long ago that we were all looking forward to the start of Spring and thinking of primroses, daffodils and warm summer sun. And now here we are, heading towards
June 21st and the Summer Solstice when the daylight is at its longest and the night is short. Celebrate by rising early to greet the dawn, to welcome the sun and give thanks for the light or bid the sun goodnight at the end of the day, and rest knowing it will rise again to light the morning sky. However you celebrate this turning point of the year know that others will be doing the same in their own way and appreciate their company as you walk your own path.

New Bushcraft training opportunity.
May saw us complete the final session of our 2024 online course of the Certificate of Best Practice in Outdoor Play Therapy with 9 more curious and enthusiastic participants. We look forward to receiving their evidence for learning and sending them their certificates. Now we are looking towards September when we will be running the face2face certificate course on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th September at the Family Garden in Exeter.
Working in collaboration with Wildheart Services we are excited to be able to offer a third 'stand alone' day on Bushcraft Skills, facilitated by Leone Ellis and Matthew Banks. Learn how to safely manage fire, hammocks, swings, den building and simple cooking and spend a day outdoors with others of a like mind!
If you'd like to book onto the Best Practice training, please check out our website
