For new members, as you complete any of our training or events, you become a full member of the COOPT community. As a member you will be first to hear any updates and news from COOPT!

While the majority of our members are indeed play therapists, we welcome professionals from various backgrounds who share our passion for therapeutic work in nature. Our diverse community includes other creative arts therapists, forest school leaders, playworkers, educators, counsellors, psychotherapists and more.

We thrive on community and collaboration, offering numerous opportunities for engagement:

• Attend our events, workshops, or courses to meet us and fellow members, either in person or online.

• Share our work with others who may be interested, or vice versa.

• Recommend valuable resources, research papers, or other items of interest to enrich our collective knowledge base.

• Volunteer to assist us on the Steering Group or at events and contribute to our shared mission.

COOPT currently offers in person workshops, courses and events in the UK. With our members spread across the UK and in Australia, Ireland, Indonesia, Israel and the United States! As some of our workshops, events and training are online we continue to welcome members from all locations.
